I don't know, how about you do those things too? look at your window sticker, and you'll see it says manual door locks... you paid for manual door locks and not some odd interpretation of FCA's gimmicky name for a push button start.
Special Olympics, Big Brothers and Sisters or how about a homeless shelter?

Independent of all the bickering at the moment there is nothing odd about tdog's interpretation because it is in fact FCA's interpretation. This is their marketing term not unlike stow 'n go. You can see this to be true as follows:

1) Do some research on FCA's keyless enter 'n go on other vehicles. Its clear what they are marketing.

2) Look at the video for FCA's keyless enter 'n go on the new 2018 JL Wrangler: http://media.dcxdca.com/vod/CMS/FeatureDetails/Assets/Video/jjl6087.mp4.

3) Look at what happened when one of the forum members brought their manual locks jeep to a dealership to investigate why keyless enter 'n go was not working. They did not simply send her home. They spent an hour trying to figure out why it wasn't working.

4) Call Jeep Cares and ask them what they think keyless enter 'n go means.

Maybe this has been addressed but what is your end game on this? Do you want them to implement remote proximity entry with manual door locks or do you want them to upgrade your manual door locks to electronic locks with proximity entry or do you just want electronic door locks that unlock remotely with the key fob?

You basically have a window sticker with mutually exclusive options and ambiguous features so how do you decide what exactly they promised you?

I want to be able to enter my Jeep without a key, as prominently displayed on the window sticker!

Does your window sticker say Manual Door Locks? If so then you're out of luck.

That's kind of a troll response. I was being genuine. so you want the electronic door locks that unlock with the fob like the Sport S?

i guess they could just replace your doors with Sport S doors.

They would probably have to add a reciever and a new FOB as well.

I was being dead serious. If you watch the Jeep video in the post just above it shows proximate entry but calls it keyless enter n’ go. I am not just fighting this fight for myself. There is a woman who posted on here that has 4 kids and was relying on being able to enter without a key.

So you want them to replace your manual door locks with electronic locks with proximity entry. And you want that on your Sport? I guess that would be dealer-installed?

Then she can get a Jeep with proximity entry if she has her heart set on one. A Base sport has always had manual door locks.

What should I request?

Well that's what I am trying to figure out.

If your position is that Keyless Enter and Go and Proximity Entry are the same thing, then the only way they can give that to you from the factory is to replace your Sport with a Sahara or a Rubicon. But that would not really be the same value. Would you pay the difference?

Otherwise you have to have the dealer install it. I have heard differing opinions on whether the dealers are equipped to do that. @JLWF Dealer Guy said it was too complicated (kind of like the heated steering wheel). Another member said his dealer told him he could do it. I saw another member who was gathering the info on the Mopar parts to do it himself. I am not aware of any instance where it has actually been done.

I'm rooting for you, I just don't really think I understand what victory looks like here.
