Saw this on a Facebook thread. Sending to to test for validity.
"... my 2022 JLUR XR the the front bump stops were ridiculously long. I mean to the point to where the bump stop met the bump stop pad was less than an inch. I reached out to some. r owners and they pretty much said they had the same issue and just put a lift on it to make it less of an issue. I did do a 1.5” level kit and that gave some space in the bump stops but still having issues. I took it to my Jeep dealership and they were shocked that this was done. They took pics and sent stuff over to the jeep engineers and today I finally heard back. I was told that they should not be on the XR except for the 392. They told my dealership that they would send stock bump stops out and that they could cut and weld the new bump stops on and it’s covered under my factory warranty. So if you fall into this scenario, I would highly suggest you contact your dealership and escalate it to get it fixed. Just thought I would share since Jeep is covering it via warranty"
Anyone experience this? Here is a pic of my 2021 JLURxR front factory bump stop and it looks just like described above. Does this need to be corrected by Jeep under warranty? Is this just a front bump stop issue, or could the rear also be a problem? I was hitting my rear bump stop a lot on the Mojave Road a few weeks ago.
