I've built a database of December 2021's build sheets. It contains everything that you can find here: https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=1C4JJXSJ1NW100001 (VIN #1 for 2022, which was apparently never built).

Note that this database only includes builds for Wranglers that have build sheets and window stickers. It doesn't know anything beyond that (e.g. has it been shipped, etc.).

As of this point in time 19,500 December build sheets exist in the database. According to @dahacker there should be about 32,500 VINs during that month, so that's about 60% of "December's VINs" with build sheets. Note that I'm counting on @dahacker's delineation of December's VINs being 125501 to 158000. If that's inaccurate then please let me know.

Any thoughts on what details / stats you'd like to know? Things like what's up with the seemingly unusual 213 3.6 builds that have a GVWR over 6,100 lbs?

Some stats that might be of interest:

Gorilla Glass: 27%
Cold Weather Group: 40%
Mopar Cold Air Intake: 0% (just 48)
Safety Group: 14%
Advanced Safety Group: 8%
Trailer Tow and HD Electrical Group: 25% (there's also a group and a package, but 1% each??)

This is good! No suggestions at this point, I am a Feb orderer but this might be of some interest. I signed up for MOPAR Jeep Owner and it won’t return my vehicle until its built.

But yesterday, a picture of a Jeep Wrangler popped up in ‘my garage’ with a VIN of 00000000000000001. I assume this a place holder.

The first VIN you posted also ended like that. So that too may be a placeholder when they built the database just to keep errors down?

Anyway thanks for this.

This is interesting... and tells me I'm in a small bucked (JLUR 3.6L Manual with everything except for colored fenders/top, smokers group, or XR package). My build is in the noise 🙃

I'm not positive on how to identify XRs, but I'm guessing that they all have "Extreme Recon 35" Tire Package". Just 418 of those (2%).

20% Smoker's Group?

Why does cryptostickers show strange data at times? I know its not crypto, just wanted to give the setting. This grab shows an order date later in the year than the sticker found date? It also has a lot old data like 2001. Does it every get filteredout to the last say 5 years of data?
Best regards

"Ordered" is whatever the person that added that vehicle typed in. Apparently it doesn't / didn't have the best validation.

I got my VIN on the same day I ordered and added it that same day. Crypto refused it and I had to enter the previous day. My guess is that he added validation, but his validation is either off by one or doesn't deal with timezone offsets correctly.

My order was 11/27 and VIN 124359 so I think you're just about right on those numbers

Re: suggested data reports

Is it possible and helpful to have a report show percentage of a trim that is completed out of the total open for that same trim? I guess where do you draw the line, some may want the 2 doors, some the 2.0 engine…

I would like to know the number of sport trims “complete” out of the “total” sport trims. It is interesting to see how “our” trim compares. Just my view from my c&c

What are others take?

Fascinating. And Thank You for crunching these numbers.

I've always wondered if the percentage of manual transmissions is higher with 2-Door Wranglers than 4-Doors. Along with that, what is the total percentage of manual transmissions vs. automatics? I have no facts to go on, but my guess is that between 9 and 11 percent of Wranglers are built with manuals.

Just 3% are manuals (!??). My last JLUR was a manual with the 3.6, but that combo was anemic AF. My JLURD on order will (eventually) be an automatic.

I've got to run to the airport in Denver so I won't be able to formulate the slightly more complex query until later. Hopefully my wife's SUV will be able to deal with this snow. I really wish I had a Jeep again....

I only have build sheets. I don't when they were created (yet) or when the Jeep eventually gets or got built. There's no concept of completed or open. Just that a build sheet exists.

It also pulls window stickers, but that's incredibly slow and provides almost no additional information as far as I can tell, so it's currently disabled.

2D vs 4D:
4D: 88%
2D: 12%

2D vs 4D auto / stick
4D auto: 86%
2D auto: 11%
4D stick: 2%
2D stick: 1%

Stick vs auto by 2D or 4D
2D auto: 90%
2D stick: 10%

4D auto: 98%
4D stick: 2%

As you suspected: significantly more 2D buyers choose a stick than 4D buyers.
