Nice. I really want the desiel but my normal commute is a lot of short trips. That probably wouldn't do any favors to that engine.
My commute is not super long. But I can take the long way there from time to time. I will make it work.

I'm ordering exactly what I want.

Sounds like your driving habits are NOT a good match for a diesel. Maybe consider the Hemi?

I did think about it.

I can't see spending 80k and having the salt just ruin it.

Plus I am kinda looking forward to decent mpg.

My commute is 10 miles mostly hwy. So so it's not that short.

That's very short and the diesel wouldn't be happy with you. Diesels like to be warmed up, so unless you plan on getting a warmer for the engine....

The 392 has set new standards, not just in performance but also in the build schedule. Delays a mis information from Jeep Chat and dealers are common. So I am very skeptical, not just on my build but what several others have posted here. Hope you are right, mine has 6/22 for estimated ship date.
Trust me I’m not planning a big excursion or a specific camping trip based upon the rumored production date. Just happy to see any news.

Hahaha that’s what turned me over. Or at least the excuse I’m making to drop that cash that I’m about to. With a 3.2 mile round-trip commute, the HEMI will be perfect.

Glad I got my 392 allocation. That means 2022s probably will not be delivered until December or January of next year.

Quick question - I ordered on 6/10 and I have the VON number from my dealer. Is the VON enough to start up with JEEP Chat, or do I need the VIN as well?

Thanks all!

They asked me for both.

I clicked on chat and selected "New Vehicle Information and Dealer Location". Once there I provided my VON, and confirmed my address and was provided my VIN, which is great, as I won't have to both the dealer for updates going forward.

I was hoping that Billet would be available but it looks like we will be going with a granite sahara.

A few weeks ago I renewed my lapsed membership with Access Fund which qualifies as an affiliate. There is a 30 waiting period like tread lightly, does anyone know if that would that be from the date of order or delivery?
