Oops forgot to add what I did to extend the tire bump stops for the spare
I know a lot of people add pvc piping with some type of rubber on the end but I found something that doesn't require a trip to the store lol

Works perfectly and won't harm/puncture your tire ?
This idea does NOT suck

Are people really paying as much or more than the price of aftermarket wheels for oem fake beadlocks (another $100/wheel for bead lock rings)? For an oem wheel they look good, but not for the price of top of the line aftermarket wheels in my opinion. Sure if you can find takeoffs at less than $200/wheel they are worth the money. $300+ per wheel and an extra $100 for beadlock rings? Icon rebound pros, method, fuel, even overpriced AEV wheels can be bought in that range in about any combination of width and backspacing.

I know ? I will be shamed for it.

I got a pretty big promotion at work so I wanted to reward myself so I splurged. It was between these or the slotted off roads since I still wanted a factory wheel. As soon as I saw these on a Sting Gray JLU I fell in love with them.

I think those wheels look great on your JLR. It doesn't matter if you paid more or less than some other wheels. If they put a smile on your face every time you turn around to look at your Jeep, they are worth whatever you paid for them. :like:

And congratulations on your promotion!

Not everyone thinks aftermarket is better than OEM for their use case. I'll stick to OEM wheels and run a wheel spacer before I go aftermarket. I like the OEM/OEM+ look.

That said, I'm glad there's lots of choices.

I bought a set of XR takeoffs in January also and considered myself lucky to find them. $1300 for a set of 5 with rings and lug nuts.

I wanted a JLUR XR Diesel, but since it's not offered I'm just building my own (with upgraded suspension components). To each their own ?

I'm all for running the oem wheels and a spacer when that's what came on the rig and it's saving me money vs buying wheels. If you think for a second I'm spending $1500+ for a set of oem fake beadlock wheels that's insane. In my opinion there are far better wheels out there in appearance, function, width, and backspacing available. To each his own, but if you are spending that kind of money and then adding beadlock rings and spacers you're throwing money away in my opinion.

The disclaimer is that OEM Rubicon wheels with spacers and no lift=rubbing issues.

That's the beauty of America, we have the freedom to do with our own money as we wish.

Dude, you don't need to explain yourself. Get what you want and enjoy it. I wanted 392 wheels for mine but the 392 isn't here in Canada yet so they would have been very expensive. Ended duo getting some nice bronze Fuel Blocks.

Enjoy, they look awesome.
