I just did a 5 tire rotation, and the "new" left front was showing as not reading. ("Service Tire Pressure Monitoring System") Drove it for awhile (50 MPH for at least 10 minutes) and after the shut down, the TPMS reset on the next start.

Donna, the 8 year warranty is for the 48 volt eTorque lithium battery. The 12V battery is the same as any other vehicle. The factory batteries are famous for quitting fairly soon. I wouldn't ever push one past 3 years. I also have a 2021, and did my battery change just because it was 3 years...
Donna, 500.00 for a battery change is a total rip-off. You need a new mechanic. The most expensive AGM battery you can by is in the 350.00 range, and takes about 10 minutes to change. Absolutely nothing to do with eTorque. Not sure how "Car Savvy" you might be, but that guy "saw the little lady...
Right side replaced TWICE??? Brian, you need to either dump that thing or replace the engine. That is just not right.
