What is a pill is that the JL has the same Cd as the Viper? Either something is very wrong with the Viper aero or the JL has incorporated a turboentabulator ion neutralizer to reduce base area drag.

Ever get that feeling the back of your jeep is going to lift off the ground when you hit 150mph? Me neither. But if you did, mopar could start selling these

Get a rear spoiler and on the front bumper get some splitters, that should help a little bit

The airflow is actually quite smooth off the hood leading edge. We have been thinking of adding a deflector to protect from stone chips and dirt but are concerned even low profile ones will disrupt the airflow too much causing drumming etc. Some others have complained about that problem.

On a previous 4x4 we installed a standard deflector and it def caused abnormal wind buffeting. So we may just add a strip of Xpel if chips become a problem. Thanks for the pics anyways as it clearly illustrates the airflow to everyone.
We have recently installed a AVS bug / air deflector in our 2019 JLU . Works well and no apparent air flow issue although we do not have a soft top . We do have roof racks , basket and awning and feel nil wind issues or extra noise .

I can tell how “flat” it is by how many bugs I take out when going upstate. My Jeep causes an insect Holocaust every trip. But despite that and less gas mileage, I love my Jeep!

My JL is getting 25 MPG with all this dragonautic profile as long as I keep it below 60 MPH.
