Wire harness rubbed through

So I see a few forums on here mentioning the wire harness being rubbed through. Mine did it this weekend and it started as a random stumbling, mostly in reverse. Then I started getting codes for the electronic throttle system and some other systems. Watching the offroad pages screen I could see it stumbled when a gauge reading would disappear or go to zero. Coolant temp and at least one other. I was getting a lot of codes and lights on the dash and the jeep was losing power, dying sometimes and not restarting for a while. After trying a few things, I remembered seeing something like this on the forums. I checked the harness then but only on the exhaust, not the dpf pipe. I felt the harness up behind the DPF pipe and the sheath had a hole I could fit my finger in. I moved some of the wires around and have been good to go since. I guess I'm in for a dealer visit. Just wanted to let people know with similar experiences, lights and systems going crazy and stumbling/dying that this is definitely a real thing. Watch your gauges for obvious signs. I have less than 15k miles on my jeep.

Yep, shortly after I got mine I saw these warning on here so I crawled under and zip tied them up.
Good reminder here for me to do a check up on that fix to make sure all is well still up in there.
Hope your dealer is helpful and quick on the fix.

I wonder if that is why my old JT EcoD caught fire? Is this harness on the passenger side or driver side? I was thinking passenger.

Its on the passenger side. I had to lay on the ground and reach up around the smaller pipe coming off the dpf. I've seen pictures of it on this forum but ill get another when I get a chance.

I couldn’t find that wire bundle on my ‘22 either. I have a Sport S and without a lot of the extra add-on packages so I thought maybe it’s for a Rubicon and add-on system I don’t have?

Late to the party but my 2022 JLURD failed on top of a mountain pass in California with this exact issue. I had about 6k miles on it, build date is 2/22. $1200 tow to the dealer later we found this out the hard way. Still fighting FCA to get reimbursed for that one!

It's this wire harness behind the passenger fender liner. Im going to zip tie it up from here. The other picture is looking up by the passenger side front control arms. The wire rubs on the flange of that smaller exhaust pipe on mine.

I I don't know if this picture helps but the top circle is where I zip tied the wire just past the connection to a ground wire. The lower circle is where the wire harness used to rest on the flange. This picture is taken from inside the rear of the passenger fender liner.
