If it was me, i would un-marry it and put it back to stock before going in, to eliminate any possible issues happening.. It does not take a long time to un-marry and re-marry the tazer.
Amazing build! Yeah that ACE bumper looks like it can take a hit at 90 MPH and not notice it!
The Rustys looks better though. I always wondered though, what happens if you dropped the Jeep on a big rock edge.. will it protect the quarter panel or will it bend?
For me, if i was looking for a rear bumper for my JL, i would get something like this.
My reason would be that it has max clearance! And its not heavy..

Thats an interesting take about the price increase. If that happened and these things ended up being expensive, i dont think they will sell in mass. Time will tell if they even release it
Interesting, yes that makes sense! So it would be cheaper and more capable but at the cost of practicality and everyday use.
I would still prefer it to my setup as i think it would be half the price
- 2024 Rubicon XR 3.6 V6 with 4.88 gears
- 1st mod was the metal cloak bumper and 10K warn winch
- 2nd mod is to update and install the tazer
- 3rd mod will be to install the half doors
This is promising! I live in AZ and temps reach 120 in the summer and something like this would be awesome.
can you post some pictures or a short video of the install and how the part works?? I can’t find any videos about it
thanks 🙏
My 2024 Rubicon XR with the 3.6 V6 non-e torque does the same thing since i got it last month. When driving i see 12.7 volts, as soon as i let go of the pedal it goes to 14.3 volts.
I think its normal
I think you are very much good to go but if i were you, i would find an offroad shop and ask them to quote me the install. Not sure how hard it is to do the install yourself but i wouldnt try it out on a daily driver...
Could that thing be whats drawing power?? that would explain the batteries dying...
Either that or maybe the batteries are fine but this module, what ever it does, is not doing it correctly..
Its just that some have reported that those tires will not last more than 25K miles (which is not very good)
I was hoping that the new 02 version is updated to at least last 40K miles or so...
Any updates from other owners about this??
These tires are Load range D now in size 38.
I am trying to figure out if they have improved the wear on them so i can pull the trigger on a set of 5 (found a very good deal on them)
Any updates would be much appreciated :)
I am looking to get the BFG 39s as well for my next jeep that i am getting soon (ordered the metal cloak game changer 3.5 lift kit and also the metal cloak front bumper) and now just finding out that those tires are so damn expensive! now i dont know what to do lol
I will look for alternatives...
Before they go replacing things and break 9 other things while replacing the initial thing they wanted to replaced.. They should check that all fuses are seated..
Most likely its an un-seated fuse
