I'm going to post this separate from my other thread about the power steering pump failure (link at bottom), but somewhat connected.

Got my Jeep back from dealer after they denied warranty (with dead batteries and $600 lighter wallet). Passenger fender liner wasn't secured properly and missing hardware. When I pulled it off, I was met with a mess of twisted and dangling wiring harness and connectors, pretty much all with broken hang-tabs and obviously out of place. I finally have it back together and was able to reroute most of the twisted wires to what seems like their original locations.

The main issue I now have is where to secure this large gray block connector, above and just forward of the spring perch (center of photo). The mounting tabs/clip on the rearward piece are snapped off, and I can't seem to find a location that it doesn't rub on the power steering connector, metal fuse box support, or other wiring.

Anyone have ideas or a photo of what this should look like?

Best I can do is a 3.6 pic
I have no idea how a diesel may differ
Ignore the winch lines outlined in white

Thanks for trying, but certainly different. My battery is where your fuses are, and my fuses are where your air box is. ;)

I believe those types of connectors have a slot feature to accommodate a "tree" retainer and typically are attached to a bracket or hole in a block or head.

Looks like another bracket on top of the pump the dealer failed to reinstall (stole?).
