What Steering Stabilizer are you Running??

I recently got a used ATS. Haven't been able to get it installed yet, but I currently run the AEV and I would say it's plenty adequate and an upgrade over stock.

I agree with the AEV/Bilstein SS. It works great for me for my usage and is not that expensive.

I have a new tie rod, drag link, sector shaft brace and exact center SS sitting on the shelf waiting on me to find the time to install. Hoping The EC is an improvement.

For those who rarely do serious off-roading and don't want to spend much, what is recommended?

My son put a Rancho RS7MT on his JLUR. Felt like a bit of an upgrade over stock, not too pricey either (~$85).

Isn't that Rancho number for a Shock Absorber??

Yes it will work, just make sure you get the right diameter clamp for your tie rod, oem is 1-5/8

I still have an Exact Center sitting in the box. Just FYI for anyone trying to install it with the relocation bracket on a stock Rubicon without a lift there is a conflict with the radiator crossmember. I was sent the original bracket they developed which replaces the stock stabilizer instead of supplementing it but as others have noted it is at risk of being bashed in that location. Not sure how many know this.

I believe it's just the next "generation" of shock. Not sure if it's upgraded compared to the classic RS5000 but they're a little more expensive. We actually need the RS77420, which has the bushing on the other end as well so that it would bolt in to the factory location.

That one has good reviews as well, and is even more budget-friendly. I know there's only one review of the RS7MT on Amazon and it's not a good one, but the one on my son's is perfect.

Well I don't have it yet but I ordered all new Fox shocks and steering stabilizer along with a Clayton relocation kit so whenever everything gets here and I get it installed I guess I get to find out how good it is. Considering how "well" the stock stabilizer works now I figured I needed something better for when I get my 35s mounted.

Got under my Jeep yesterday to change the oil and looky what I found... I don't even wheel that hard! One more reason to swap it out or at the very least have a spare on hand. I mean it's not damaged, but the 'protective' sleeve is all mangled.

Are you going with a relocation kit? Or, are you just sticking another in the factory location?

Look a few posts (#126) above this and you can see my replacement! Bought the JK Fox kit with 1 5/8 diameter which will relocate position to above.
