I went through a touchless car wash last week. When you first go in and that high pressure spray hits the lower part of the Jeep I had a decent amount of water hit my leg. It came from between the bottom of the door and the body.My JLWU is leaking on the PASSENGER side. The first time I noticed it, it was after a very heavy (horizontal) rain from back to front. I have WeatherTech mats in both the front and the back. There was water in the front passenger molded plastic mat. The carpet underneath was wet, too. With the rain blowing up the length of the vehicle and down the windshield, I figured it was a one-off situation.
I tow the Jeep behind a motorhome. Since I got home from a 4-month trip a month ago, it's been mostly sitting in the garage as my Hybrid gets better mileage. Today, I had the Jeep out. When I opened the door, the smell of mold was overpowering. I looked under the passenger floormat. The carpet mat under the WeatherTech mat was soaked! The carpet in the rear passenger side was damp (not soaked). There are dried water drip lines on the inside under the glove box near where the door hinges are located.
I have never removed the 3-piece top nor left the windows open in the rain. Something is leaking around the hood or windshield.
