Hello All,
I just installed 35in tires on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I have a fox steering stabilizer on now. Do I need to upgrade or replace the current stabilizer?
Thanks,

Not unless it leaks out or is otherwise damaged. Mine leaked out and was useless so I finally got to install my Fox stabilizer. Honestly I should have installed it when I did the shocks because it really smoothed it out. Does a much better job than factory stabilizer even before it all leaked out.

Im really thinking of upgrading mine. I'm not having any issues at all but I upgraded my SS on my Tj and it was noticeable better. I guess its fair to say I just dont have a lot of confidence in the factory SS.

I have the "base" Fox stabilizer here, it is night and day better than what Jeep puts on at the factory.

It's not one of the "fancy" through shaft versions but honestly I think this is more than good enough. My steering is rock solid and it tracks straight down the road.

Yes sir, I suspected this 👆

That does it, I'm changing mine. I'll save the factory one for a spare ICOE.

Just be aware that if you buy the Fox it comes with a new 19mm bolt, all the OE hardware is 18mm. The 19mm bolt goes on the outside end. You reuse the factory bolt and flag nut on the diff. side.

Unless you have a relocation kit which might change things a bit.

You've already upgraded your steering stabilizer once. Is there something wrong that's making you consider doing that again?

Note that you might want to relocate it if you do any significant rock crawling.

No just a general question. First time owning a Jeep and getting to know how thinks work on it.

I swapped out the factory SS for this base Fox SS when the lift was installed. Since I never used the factory SS with larger tires (315's) it's hard to know how much difference the new Fox SS actually made, but it works great; Jeep steers and tracks perfectly. I notice the price has gone up about $40 in the last couple years... if you're on the fence, just do it before price goes up even more for the same part. As an added bonus, it looks nice, too ;).
I tucked the spare factory SS in the crate the lift kit came in, just in case...

Upgrade your track bar if you haven't. The stock one is barely sufficient for 33s.

If you do upgrade the SS, the thru shaft ones are the way to go. I had right pull until i got a thru shaft one and the pull was worse with a fox ss take off (non thru shaft)

Yours came with a bolt? Dang, my Fox TS didn’t, even after being told it came with all hardware. I did reuse the diff side bolt, but the oem tire side nut worked fine with it.

It came with a bolt, nut and two washers to be exact. The bolt was 19mm and the nut was 18mm.

Did you have to drill the hole for the 19mm bolt?
