TLDR: After installing steering stabilizer relocation bracket, my steering wheel is off about 2-3* to the left. Why? And since nothing else was changed, should I just adjust the drag link to recenter the steering?

I purchased a Steering Stabilizer (SS) relocation and FAD skidplate kit yesterday. I wasted no time opening the box and examining all the contents about to go on the Jeep. I'm definitely looking forward to adding more armor on the JLUR in the future.

But it seemed like I had hell of a time getting it installed. It definitely took me longer than expected because I had to constantly take it on and off again.

I decided to take the wheel off because it gave me more access. With the stock plastic bumper, there's just to much in the way when you're working on the ground. After removing the track bar bolt, installing the tie rod bracket and mocking everything up, and as many people have suggested, I disconnected the drag link from the knuckle so I could have room to drill out the necessary hole in the track bar bracket. No big deal, I tied it up with a bungee cord and all was good. When I went to re-install the SS, it took me about 5-6 tries before I found the correct position on the tie rod bracket so it would clear everything. I also realized, if you are still on stock suspension, you'll have to disconnect the sway bar link to lift the sway bar out of the way to install the bolt through the SS on the axle side mount. And maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me, but I don't think the bolt on the tie rod bracket was exactly straight up and down, just off to the left just a hair (as looking at it from the front once it's installed). Is it supposed to be this way?

When I took the jeep for a test drive, I noticed my steering wheel was noticeably off about 2-3* to the left. If I center the steering wheeling, I'm practically changing lanes. I can still make full turns, lock to lock (40* on the ORP display). Should I just readjust the drag link a turn or two until my steering wheel is centered and call it good? Or did I do somehow, magically mess something up?

The skidplate, now that went on without a hitch. It looks damn good too.
