I am curious if we will loose access to the USB port in the arm rest if we install the
Jeep JL Security Console Insert
It keeps the access to the USB port, though you can't route the cable outside the arm rest via the side access holes at the top, as far I can tell from the pics

The lid holds about 200 lbs. well my JK model did. It’s pretty damn sturdy
Perfect thank you aqualung. I called them today and they said load it up! Hence the diamond plate vinyl and cargo tie downs they sell for it.

Looks like the ARB 63 Qt fridge will just fit underneath, or if not maybe on top. (fingers crossed anyway)...

Got my order in. Brian said first week of June should have a new batch of orders out.

Ok, so just for clarification, the pictures are small on their site, this is a solid welded insert correct? If you wanted to put something in the back that is larger than the space under the lid, this would have to be completely removed again? Was hoping for something more hinged.

The lid lifts almost like its hinged and does remove.

Ah see thats good to hear, again in their photos it doesnt show that at all, Getting a soft top only and am looking for security options.
If anyone has pictures of the same currently in their JK that would be great.

Perfect, thank you, thats something I'm sure the wife would like to have.
It makes a world of difference if you take the Mrs Shopping, to the beach, etc. that thing was built like a tank. I will be getting one too.

Been looking at cargo liners/mats as well. Thinking I may have to make my own with this to go inside the boxed in area.

That may not fit. I had to take y cargo tray out
I was wondering about this as well. I need the security of being able to throw the work backpack (laptop) back there while I run into the store. I’ll have to be okay with hacking my cargo mat up to retain it all. Either way, ordered as soon as it went live. Added the security console and rails for strapping stuff down.
