I would think that you could connect the one side to the racor, the slide it between the shade and the top, pull it forward so you could grab it in the freedom panel opening, then slide it out the other side. I don't think it'd be bad. As far as total weight, I think it's about 130 pounds or so. They said the JKU was 100 or so for the top, and another 40 or so for the freedom panels. JLU was supposed to be about 20% lighter, but if you engineer to about 150 pounds, you should be golden regardless.Nevermind on the threading the strap, I thought about it for a couple more seconds. I guess my sunshade would make it hard to use the strap anyway. I guess I would need hooks that go up front like some others Ive seen.
