I didn't see it posted. Topsy Products announced on their Facebook page that they have sold out of red brackets and will begin shipping black ones. Also, they're releasing a JL "hoist solution" soon.

Sweet almost ordered red this morning and was going to paint. Glad I got called into a meeting!

I was told earlier this week that those cam gears would be on the site around the end of the week. Since it's still 110 degrees in AZ, I held off on ordering the red brackets and was going to just do one order when those went up. But now it looks like I missed the red brackets

They may not be on there until production. I’ll keep you posted. They had just sent me some information about it, so I thought that’s where I saw it originally. Either way, I’ll post when I know more. Awesome option for sure!

It is, actually. I’m fairly sure those that posted reviews about it falling are fairly inept at installing things. Follow the instructions, take your time, easy win.

In regards to painting them, this is what they look like sprayed black. You barely notice them even knowing they are there.

If you are using the strap up front, do you just get in there and lift, then thread the strap under the top?

Also, what is the total weight of the top, with and without freedom tops in a bag?

I like the Topsy lift point but thinking of building my own lift with some pulleys. My carport has a plywood roof, Ill have to get up in the attic above to see what type of anchor points Ill have, but definitely curious what type of weight I need to be designing for.

Nevermind on the threading the strap, I thought about it for a couple more seconds. I guess my sunshade would make it hard to use the strap anyway. I guess I would need hooks that go up front like some others Ive seen.
