I never use tire shine, once you apply this stuff you will need to apply it every time afterwards. I love the dry rubber look.

I like stuff from Griots Garage. It's a satin finish. It's a spray, but I also have a plastic thing I bought that covers the wheels while I spray. Works great. I'll usually go around & make sure there's no little "puddles" left on the tires.

When I bought my Jeep, we went to lunch while they made it ready and did the paperwork. I told them not to use that tire shine shit, but they did. I had the salesman get me a rag and then I wiped as much of it off as I could. He didn't understand why anyone wouldn't want greasy, wet looking tires.

Wow...nice!
@davers

Thanks....Yes, they come out decent .... the 303 works well.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it earlier in the thread but after doing the tires, I use the applicator cloth and other cloths I just used with the 303 to wipe down the inner fender liners that I had washed clean earlier. The 303 makes the fender liners look good and also helps in keeping dirt/mud and such from sticking to the fender liners as much. Anyway, I have product on the used applicator/cloth so why not use it...

Tuf Shine is the best tire coating I've used. Over the years I have been through many different products. It is a bit of a pain to apply since you need to make sure your tires are totally clean before application. One the plus side, once this stuff dries, it is permanent. 1-2 initial coats will give you a satin sheen. You can apply multiple coats if you are looking for a higher gloss level.

303 the companies answer below.......

What is the difference between this and the 303 Automotive Protectant? Answer: These are actually the same product. The label simply reflects the market in which it is sold (marine, automotive or general).

I’ve found that a few hours of driving in soft beach sand makes the tires look perfectly black as the sand does a good job of scrubbing.

Yes, they will clean your tires like new. I also found good fresh snow without salt will do a great job also.
