I have a 3.6 V6 2024 Will'ys and there is a lot of Lag when i hit the gas. I want to install a throttle response controller. What's everybody's favorite brand and have you noticed a difference in the lag since installing.

I use the Pedal Commander and love it! There is another product others here use, but I will let them chime in on what it is (I can’t remember the product’s name) and know they really like the product they use.

Bank's pedal monster is the best controller. I tried a lot of controllers and the Bank's gives you the most natural feel. Slightly more expensive but worth it!

Does installing a pedal throttle response controller invalidate the factory warranty?

That will likely depend on the dealer with whom you, uh, deal.

To judge from recurring posts on the subject, some CDJR Svc Dept staff will reject warranty coverage for a Jeep that has aftermarket seat covers (I'm exaggerating, but not by much), whereas other dealers are reasonably forgiving.

My selling dealer, for example, wasn't bothered by the Hike-It X9 controller in my Jeep when I was there for my single warranty concern. That turned out to be an O2 sensor that required replacement.

If you're concerned, simply reconnect the factory throttle harness, and tuck the controller's wiring up behind the dashboard...or remove the throttle controller harness completely.

This particular accessory doesn't overwrite any PCM functioning, and it leaves no e-footprint for the Svc Dept's diagnostic equipment to discover.
Thanks much for the input

Some of the lag is learned by your driving style. Drive it too easy all the time and it will feel lazy. Take it out once a week and stomp on it and it will reset and wake up the computer.
My preference is the “Hikeit” throttle programmer.
