The only thing is a owner stated after ummarring the dealer still picked up a change in the computer.
We need to know if that was a glitch or could present a problem in the future for service.

It there is a date/time log of the changes then it is unlikely that could ever be a computer glitch. You are busted. Fortunately the tazer isn't an engine tuner which could indeed cause warantee concern imo.

Just installed mine, and I am very pleased with it so far. It performed the main features I purchased it for without any issues. Turned my TPMS threshold down, and calibrated for my tire size perfectly(GPS at 40mph is spot on.)

I don't have time to mess with the rest of the features, but I will later this evening or on the weekend. I am just happy to have my Speedometer correct, and my TPMS light off at my tire pressure.

Can you use this to remove the bulb out indicator and rapid flashing from installing LED turn signals into the halogen housing?

Chris, You probably know this but do be sure to check at 40, 60, 70, 80. I have used programmers in the past and sometimes all was aok at 40 and not aok at say 60. Play with programmer so you are within say 1 mph at all speeds.

I think the way it works is that the faster you go the more out it will be in a linear progression. Therefor you should only have to calibrate it using your fastest speed. Say 70mph?

Edit: for calibration I usd an IPhone app called "Speedometer" then put my Jeep on cruise at 100kph. 315/70/17 Duratracs are best set at 34.390 I think the setting was.

Yup, but really is wise to spot check at different speeds. I found that if you can pick a different tire size then actual you can often zero in on accuracy.

Of course, as tire wears you should spot check again and reprogram accordingly.

I have a customers JK on the lift, and didn't have much time to really play with it(Just took a quick spin around the block, didn't have a chance to hit the freeway.) I measured actual height of my tires with a large adjustable square we have here in the shop. I've done it in the past with the Flashcal and it was always fairly close. I will check it on my ride home from work this evening just to make sure.

Huh ...

Anyway, yes, "as tire wears you should spot check again and reprogram accordingly." A new tire will require you to select a bigger diameter tire when programming. A very worn tire a smaller diameter tire when programming. This is not exact science but you need to keep this in mind and at least spot check occasionally. Of course, you don't have to but the more your speedo accuracy is off, the more apt you are to get a speeding ticket.

No, not in CT but do get there occasionally, I'm usually in Upstate NY, Newport Rhode Island or in Vero Beach, Florida.

Yea, most places you can get away with say 5 mph over but .... but I'm usually pushing the speed limit anyway, so if I'm off accuracy wise to much, I may be blessed with a traffic stop / warning..
