I had no idea that “brake hold” was a thing with any OEM. I can’t think of a single legitimate use for that feature if it locks all 4 wheels.Brake hold feature is very nice. My 911, BMW and MB have it built into them. Its a nice feature. None of my others have every given me any issue.
The Taser implementation worked perfectly fine too. UNTILL someone opens a door. Thats a big issue. My other cars do not release the hold if a door is open. So yes, I wont be using this feature anymore and will only manually hold.
What “problem” do the OEM’s say they solve with brake hold?
