Good call, They got it sorted for me. Price was great, cheaper than a new one and I got the cable and the 2yr warranty

The best price I could find for the Tazer Mini in Canada was $500 CDN (taxes in) and that didn't include the SGW cable.

I just purchased one of the refurbished units last night along with the SGW cable and 2 year warranty ($450 CDN all in including shipping) and my package shipping out this morning. Talk about speedy!

The only thing that gave me a little concern about picking up a refurbished unit was this statement......" May receive “NOT VIN” error on first use. Email [email protected] for assistance." From what I've seen and read on the forum about Z Automotive, their customer service is top notch, so hopefully I won't run into any issues.

Glad you saved a few $... SMART you bought the SGW Extension Cable..

That error is not typical and no big deal and is easily corrected.. Would not require you to return the Tazer JL Mini. Joe, would explain how to proceed in an email or text to you and possibly, email you an update for your Tazer JL Mini.

The bypass module that Superchips sends with the Flashcal for JL, is basically the same as was used on the original Tazer JL and the one at the link in my last post.. AND, in reality a bypass module is a bypass module and no more..

With that said, I do believe it would work in regard to a bypass module in use with an original Tazer JL.

What are some of the common issues that arise where one would need to execute using the warranty? Had a Flashcal I used from my JKU (I unmarried it before I sold the JKU so I just bought the gateway module) but considering picking this up, just curious if anyone has needed to exercise the warranty.
