Do I need to turn my Tazer off if I put my Jeep at the dealer for work if they hook something up to the port can it burn it up or can I just leave it on do I have to unmarry it cuz I don't know how can I just leave it on

If it was me, i would un-marry it and take it out, just to be safe and that way they dont deny you any warranty work..

There are a few reasons why it is recommended to unmarry and remove the Tazer JL and reconnect the two cables at the security gateway, before any dealership Service Department visit.

Here is just one major reason why...

IF, the Dealership Tech, does an update which changes the BCM config, and you’re not unmarried, when you finally do unmarry, you’ll be erasing what the Tech at the Dealership Service Dept., just applied.

Again, remember ..... After you unmarry.... do remove the Tazer JL and reconnect the two cables at the security gateway.

I need to find someone to help me. I had someone help me install it i don't know how and don't want to mess it it up especially putting it back in. doesn't it need to come out completely ?

Need help with tazar jl mini. Have updated to 11.4.4 and married the tazer to my 2023 jl sport unlimited. I can get to the TPMS menu and can check the pressures. But don't see Radio or light menus. Instead, it goes to JL:lt:11.4.4. Haven't made any changes sofar.
Any help would be appreciated.

How did you marry the Tazer? Describe the steps you took.

Plugged it in, went to the Audio menu on the dash, and then pushed the left arrows until I got to the marry option. At that point, I believe I pressed the cruise button.

Anyone able to help with this. Emailed the info to zautomotive last night. Received a response this morning requesting the purchase order before they would help. Emailed a PDF of the purchase order this morning and have heard nothing since. Any help would be much appreciated.

Did you perform the 2 sleep cycles after making changes?

Steve finally responded. It turns out it is acting like a lite not a mini. Steve said I needed to reach out to the seller.
