ECRI is probably the most accurate way to change tire size. It does it automatically, with the vehicle GPS. You have to drive a certain minimal distance, over a certain speed, and the algorithm figures it out through calculations with GPS distance and number of tire revolutions per mile (presumably). It calculates your tire size to one one-hundredth of an inch, and uploads it to your vehicle.
