Yes your the fake news type for sure , why and how do I know that ?
You attacked me personally but not my idea. Why don’t you attack the idea of having toe in vs toe out ? that’s what the discussion is , you attack me personally but never actually discuss the issue. So take a side like I did and all the people who liked your comment as you guys support and accept toe out, I do not. I support and standby my 40 years of automotive knowledge and every other expert in their field that’s says toe in. Simple.
Maybe reread what I wrote, because I'm not seeing where I personally attacked you. You keep saying jeep knows better -- I guess you haven't seen all of the issues associated with the new JL and the steering? Do you also believe stabilizers "fix" death wobble? You keep on standing by all that knowledge of yours - never question anything.

The Jeep JL is always breaking new ground. First a Re-designed oil system that Jeep thinks takes 5 quarts but really takes 6 quarts. Now we find out Jeep has been stupidly setting the alignment wrong since 1946 and it took the experts at SS work on the JL to turn the industry upside down by announcing a brand new innovation , testing revealed something to them that every other person missed. Set your JL Toe out ! Yes the crowd goes wild the clouds part it’s a miracle how could we have all been so stupid.
Salty much?

Tire Popper Pros? I would reverse that top bolt... and how long do your shocks have to be to need that much misalignment?
Maybe if you knew what you were looking at you would know the suspension is at full droop on a lift..... It will not contact the tire.

Jason is one of the top Jeep builders in the country. If he has his hands on it, it’ll be done right

Brett
Jason is a fantastic builder, easily in the top 1% of builders in the country.

We have run them on a bunch of test Jeeps and in a ton of terrain and situations. No worries.

Pretty sure I’m one of the first people to have this on their JLUR on the site. Now to see if it binds or not as we had to fabricate a bracket to get it to fit with the Steer smarts products.

It seem like this turned into a steersmarts only recommendation thread. Lol

I’m looking at Synergy. Can I get some feedback on synergy HD kit and the sector shaft brace?

I have the Synergy setup and very happy with it.

I did not go with the sector shaft brace as I don't believe that oil-lite bushing provides proper support. The JK version used a roller bearing and I can only assume the JL version went with the bushing due to space available. As soon as that bushing gets some wear it will no longer brace the sector shaft. So I just did the Rusty's brace instead.

If I was going to do it all again I'd go with the new MetalCloak drag/tie combination.

I don't see why anyone would consider the SS set up... It's more expensive, not as strong, has clearance issues with stabilizers and the replacement TREs are $180 each (new TRE required to upgrade to high steer from stock drag link position as well)!!!!

My opinion is probably a little biased though :movember:

I just did Synergy tie rod and drag link, not the brace, and I am very happy with it. Seems very well built. Bushings seem nice and tight and time will tell if it handles a beating.
We've got a ton of test miles on the sector shaft brace kits and have yet to see any wear issues with the bronze sector shaft bushing. In the event you ever did need to replace it you'd be looking at a $8 investment.

That's a good point. But since we have you here why did the JL sector shaft get a bushing versus the nice needle roller in the JK version? Any plans for a future retrofit?
