  1. NorthRidge4x4 Beware

I understand and hope you know my response wasn't insinuating that you felt we sold used parts, I just wanted to clarify so that there was no questions in that regard. I also didn't feel that you had an issue with us specifically, but I still wanted to reach out and offer to help resolve...
  2. NorthRidge4x4 Beware

Nathan - I apologize for the issues you've had with the products to this point. I can assure you that the bearing in the bearing plate is purposely pressed in at a slight angle for proper alignment with the sector shaft when the brace is installed. It is not intended to be flush with the...
  3. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

if you haven't already sent me an e-mail with a copy of your invoice, send me a message to [email protected] (and cc [email protected]) and I will be working on RMA's to get the bracket portion of the kit swapped out for you. I think you may have misunderstood (or potentially I wasn't...
  4. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

If you've already received it and didn't purchase from the steer smarts website by selecting the rubicon version then you probably bought the non-rubicon version. The new version of the bracket arrived and they have begun kitting them. There are a number of them in stock already and they should...
  5. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

Shoot me a DM and send me a video of the noise. Haven't had anyone have any sort of noise issues yet and I'm curious if it might be related to something else? I'd be happy to take a listen and see if there is anything that can be done to help.
  6. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

There will be no issue with this version and the anti-rock, it's only the rubicon sway bar and, and we've noticed that it's not on all of the rubicons even. It has to do with how the sway bar on these stays fatter longer than all the other options. We have a V2 bracket that is starting...
  7. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

I am hopeful, but it will really depend on how quickly we can get them turned around production-wise. We have run into slowdowns in all areas, whether laser cutting, welding, or e-coating with all of our products since the covid crap. Again, I'm hopeful, but my guess is April if I'm being...
  8. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

You're welcome and no problem. They are very similar looking at a quick glance, but in order to create a sturdy mounting location for the bearing plate, the gussets had to be moved to the outside of the bracket to accommodate this need.
  9. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

The idea has been thrown around but it would be a little while out. We are currently working on some other Jeep items, and then we're going to offer up some options for the 2500/3500 Ram and f250/f350 ford guys so that they can finally have some good quality steering components. We're also...
  10. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

You're not wrong, and we have done that before and would have with this, too, but we had tested it on multiple versions of the Jeeps and knew the sway bars were all the same length across all of the different versions, we just didn't catch the slight variance at the end of the Rubicon quick...
  11. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

The track bar reinforcement bracket is a different design than the sector shaft brace w/ track bar reinforcement.
  12. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

It's not a safety concern, it's a fitment issue with a specific package that has a slight rub. Most companies wouldn't have even said anything and would blame the customer - which would you prefer? We have tens of thousands of miles testing these parts on various vehicles, they just happen to...
  13. Steersmarts trackbar brace with pitman armsupport

We recently noticed the difference in how the outer end of the rubicon sway bar tapers vs all of the other sway bars and have seen that there is a slight rub between the Rubicon sway bar end and our bracket. We have already kicked off the engineering team on correcting this issue and we will...
  14. 2021 2 Door Rubicon Death Wobble

Deathwobble is a result of worn-out/weak products or incorrect setup (toe/caster). On your JK, I would bet you had bad ball joints and/or a worn-out track bar. The 21's come with the steel steering box which is an upgrade over the 18-20 JL's, though 18-20's have a TSB now to get the steering box...
  15. Issues with Steersmarts Tie Rod

Just seeing this, sorry - my notifications for this site don't seem to work very well. We recommend between .35 and .5 degrees of total toe regardless of the other components. The nice thing about something like the posts above or our toe plate alignment kit is that you can fine-tune your toe...
  16. Anyone see JL BYPASS shocks @ SEMA?

Pictured is actually our 1-3/4" Aluminum Tie Rod with clamps. These clamps are different from the chromoly tube. It should be ready available to order before Christmas. What is your concern about the clamps? You can shoot me a DM if you want and I'll answer whatever questions your might have.
  17. Anyone see JL BYPASS shocks @ SEMA?

We're running Bilstein 9200 Triple Bypass on the JT that we built for SEMA. Other than machining the bushing for the rear to fit a larger diameter fastener and using Rock Krawler Coilover mounts on the front, they pretty much bolted right up. These are the 60mm ones - can give you part numbers...
  18. Steersmarts yeti drag link failure

*Update* Unfortunately, we won't have an opportunity to review the end as it was accidentally left on the trail. Based on the photo and what can be seen in the video, I am confident the failure was caused by incorrect torque. Stock spec for the JK draglink at the knuckle is 63 ft-lbs while our...
  19. Steersmarts yeti drag link failure

You're welcome - still trying to get the end back from Evo, but I already sent them a replacement.
  20. Steersmarts yeti drag link failure

For those interested, this is the first-ever no-drill top mount draglink stud failure that we've ever had, and we have well over 10,000 units currently out there being used and abused. I am trying to get the end back from Evo so we can send it to our engineering team/metallurgist for review...
