Ha, we just went through this. My wife started with her Jeep and I purchased an Exacto knife for the job. She tried to cut out with it and said it was horrible and she threw it away. She ended up hacking her's up with a steak knife and sawed the cut-outs and they look pretty bad.I have those. I just used my handy pocket knife, but probably could have gotten a slightly neater result with a box cutter.
They're easier to cut when the Jeep's been sitting in the sun and they're nice and warm.
I got the Exacto out of the trash, calmly walked to my Jeep and scored the cut out a coupled of time and popped them right out. Once she saw how to do it "properly" and went back in, I grabbed my box cutter and made short work out of it. The Exacto was way too slow but I wasn't going to let her see that.
