I have a 2022 JLUR XR. Everything is stock. I dented the steering stabilizer on a trail and looking for a replacement as well as relocation to better protect it.

I'm currently looking at Fox 2.0 TS (985-02-127). But not sure how to relocation it to above the tie rod. I saw some threads talking about Synergy, MC or Clayton Steering Stabilizer Relocation kit. I'm not sure if any of them fit my Jeep and the FOX SS, and if there is enough clearance above the tie rod for the install.

Would like to hear people's insights. Thank you!

There's been a number of members who have relocated stabilizers on their stock height Jeeps. Only clearance issues are with the stabilizers that have piggyback reservoirs, like the adjustable Fox ATS.

The part number you are looking at is the JL specific one, which comes with the 3 bolt bracket for the factory location. What you want is the JK specific one, which replaces that bracket with a tie rod clamp. That is a convenient shortcut for a relocation, as itvsaves us from having to buy the clamp separately and swap out the bracket. Northridge 4x4 is listing them in stock and ready to ship. They have 3 seperate listing for the Fox TS, only difference being the size of the clamp (1-3/8", 1-1/2", and 1-5/8"). I can't remember the diameter of the factory tie rod. Here's links to all 3...

I personally use the SteerSmarts relocation bracket for the axle end. It's a double sheer design for added strength, and it allows the bushing to work radially as the tie rod moves fore and aft vs it misaligning like with the Synergy mounting stud. Here's a link and a pic of the Fox TS that has been serving me very well for 63k miles and two sets of steering linkages...

Included in mine was an extended double end threaded bolt that replaces the lower track bar bolt. That is where you mount one end of the SS. And as Mike said, just order the JK version where you get a clam shell clamp for your specific tie rod diameter. You shouldnt need to buy anything else.
