Steep driveway test

Aloha all
I picked up my 21 JL Rubicon 6 speed stick Monday from the port here on Maui. What a thrill. I wanted to relate a little story. We have a fairly steep driveway that can be a challenge for 1st gear on some vehicles. My 97 TJ SE had a little struggle with it. Just for fun I put the 21 JL in 4 low, 1st gear and it idled up without touching the throttle. Gotta love the gearing!! It doesn't look that bad but it seems to take some throttle to get up for most vehicles.

How does the Jeep behave in first gear at 2H on this incline?

It's fine, just needs a little throttle. My 97 TJ SE needed a lot of throttle and clutch action to get up.
Coming from the SE this 21 Rubicon with the 3.6 is a rocket ship.
