I just got the error message

“Stop/Start Unavailable
Service
Stop/Start
System”

If I remember correctly, this indicates the auxiliary battery is going bad again. I replaced it in 2022 and have a tazer mini. The start stop has been disabled since 2021. Is the auxiliary battery dead again after 4 years? Even with the start stop disabled?

This is a 2021 JLUR with the 2.0

Free, search around here there are a couple threads on it, easy to do. If main battery is bad, you'll need that replaced either way.

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to test each of the batteries separately?

I would think they could isolate the wires that go down to the auxiliary battery

if you're keeping both you always replace as a set. but just disconnect both leads off the negative terminal and you isolate the primary

Okay. Based off what I am reading, it looks like all that is need to delete the aux battery is taking each of the terminals off and taking them up. I would guess the main battery is also going, if the auxiliary battery is. I just didn’t want to go and buy a battery (or two) if it was something else going on. That’s why I was asking about isolating them. If I do the delete and the main battery is still good, I will just be out the time. Crossing fingers

Thank you

just take n3 off the PDC and run a jumper between n3 and n1. disconnect the aux negative at the primary negative. done deal
