I have followed this issue, since the 3.6 engine origination. It was used in other model Jeeps, prior to the 2012 Wranglers. There has never been a anti-drain back valve, from day one through the current PUG. But, I think some is retained by vacuum. Example, you drink some soda through a straw and while the straw is full, just hold your tongue over the end. The soda will not run out. Just common sense. So until the cap is loosened, some is retained.
