Should I get Gorilla Glass Replacement

The only reason I have one is it came with the Jeep Beach package. I'm wondering, when it does crack, if insurance will replace it with GG without a fight once they see the price.

In normal vehicles calibration would be required, but our Wrangler windshields are designed to fold down. You don't dismount the sensor package from the windshield.

The dealership in Castle Rock replaced my Gorilla Glass windshield last month. It was the first replacement, so it was free. I explicitly asked if the glass company had to calibrate it. They called and verified that no, calibration wasn't necessary. And yes, I have the Advanced Safety Group.

Ah, good to know, thanks! I had not thought of that. My GC and wife's Wagoneer both need recal or so they tell us. All three (Grand Cherokee, Wagoneer, Wrangler) have the sensor but I forgot the Wrangler mounts it to the body and not the windshield.

The first incident is covered by the warranty. You're in FL, so subsequent replacement should be covered by your insurance based on FL state law.
