it's covered under the warranty, but I hope it doesn't come back. I also had it ceramic coated so I'm hoping they cover that too.
The problem is aluminum won't stop corroding if exposed to oxygen or water. It will spread wherever if can get air and as the corrosion bubbles it peels the paint from more aluminum letting the problem spread.Yes the doors are aluminum. That is corrosion building up behind the paint.
Not magnetic so seems to be aluminum? The only steel I found were the bolts.The JL press kit states aluminum doors and hinges. Not sure if this means the door skin is aluminum or steel skins with aluminum inner structure.
If they can't blend it, then why didn't they paint the whole door? I don't see how it's acceptable to paint part of a panel and not blend it.I just picked it up and it looks like shit!
They said FCA won't let them blend it?
The dealership is going to contact FCA about getting it fixed
