Also curious to know as I was doing some research as well and really like the idea of leaving the stock Rubicon rails on and supplementing with these too.
I bought these from Ace.
shipping was almost 200 US dollars and customs was over 100 can dollars.
I am still waiting to put them on my jeep.
I ordered my jeep early February and still waiting for it to get built/ delivered.

OK, Thanks.

I reached out to them via email and will wait and see how long and how much.

Any ideas for dog-friendly side steps that work with the OEM Rock Rails on a JLU Rubicon?

If you are horrified by this idea, please look the other way. I still need my 8 yr old to be able to climb into the vehicle while wearing snow pants...

Can you attach side steps to a Rubicon, and leave the rock rails installed?

I hate the MOPAR side step offerings. Does anyone know who makes some that look decent and are durable?
try this link you can leave your original rock rails in place

Those look like the same steps that I installed on my Rubi Rails about 2 years ago, except the ones I got were made by Lund (Lund Rock Rail Short Steps, P/N 26410025) and I got them from Amazon for under $100 Canadian.

It took a few hours of my time to get them installed, I broke one 7/16" drill bit, and I had to borrow a better Rivnut tool from a friend.

Quick question for those who purchased the Ace Engineering that bolt on while keeping the Stock Rubi Rails - I've heard a ton of people complain that the Ace rock rails rust at all the joints? Anyone seeing this - has this been resolved??? Would love to purchase but not if they rust!!!

Thanks,

One data point for you: I've had mine for a year and live in NE OH, which uses a lot of brine/salt on the roads during winter. I haven't seen any rust at the weld points yet.

Looks like US sellers including Amazon are all out of stock on these.

I did find one place (TPS Truck Parts Superstore) in Edmonton Alberta Canada that says they still have them in stock. It does say "Low Stock" on the listing, so who knows if they actually still have them.

I'm not sure if the ship to the USA, but here's the link ...... Lund 26410025 Rock Rail Step; Black; Short Step; 2 pc

While I really would like some steps I can’t justify these $900-$1000 prices for just a couple sticks of steel.
