Why do you want the factory rails on? Look covering the pinch seam?I’m going with Roam even though I don’t like the idea of removing factory rails. I wish Ace had come out with a flat step version rather then just tube one.
Protection is the main reason I want to keep the factory rails...not sure if Roam provides equivalent protection. Why do you want the factory rails on? Look covering the pinch seam?
Are you gonna offer this as a product.. can you duplicate. I’m in ms. I’ll come get them.. also can you step on them or does it tweak body. If so I’ll take two sets. One for me and one for my brother. We took some DOM tube and welded to our Rubicon Rails.
We will be building a set of steps like we have for the JKAre you gonna offer this as a product.. can you duplicate. I’m in ms. I’ll come get them.. also can you step on them or does it tweak body. If so I’ll take two sets. One for me and one for my brother.
When are those going to be available and about how much $. I really like what you did to the Rubi rockers. Do you have a drawing or deminsons and material used.We will be building a set of steps like we have for the JK
Don't know on price yet as we have to build them first then look at production costs, materials, etc. We just made the ones on their by hand. No drawings or anything like thatWhen are those going to be available and about how much $. I really like what you did to the Rubi rockers. Do you have a drawing or deminsons and material used.
I like these in red; I wish they sold them that way. Did you paint these yourself?I went with Ace Rock Sliders and kept my stock Rubicon Rails on ! I love them and they allowed installation without removing the stock rails!
Would be very interested in a set if it is a a without the tub guard. I don’t want to drill into my tub yet, so finding a good step /slider that does not have that is difficult. We will be building a set of steps like we have for the JK
Looking for some real wide side step/ slider too. I don’t know if any of you guys drive gravel roads, but one rain an a trip to town. Jeep was covered in mud and rocks. Need some boards to keep that crap off the sides.
You bought the RSE power steps? I'm on the fence with those. I was quoted $$$ to install so I have to figure that on top of already high price. How are they?Couldn't wait any longer for the LOD steps. Just bit the bullet and spend big dollars for the RSE rail and step. Meets my needs as far as looks and protection as i am not going to be doing any heavy rock climbing etc. Can get the wife, grandkids and mother-in -law in the car with out additional drama.
Also curious to know as I was doing some research as well and really like the idea of leaving the stock Rubicon rails on and supplementing with these too.I am in Canada.
Is there a distributor for Ace here or will they ship from the USA?
