Ace Engineering Rock Sliders installed on Rubicon JLU. They attach to body bolts and do not require removing rock rails. Work good as side steps.

I went with the JCR Crusaders. Boat side, rocker protection, and about 4" of a step... can't wait for them to get here

Advice/Recommendations welcomed... Just sold my plastic Sahara steps and want to upgrade to something more durable and better looking. Trying to learn more about how Roam frame mounted rails compare to Ace sliders put on top of rubi rails. Goals:

1. Allows young kids to safely climb in
2. Protects when trail riding once a month
3. Protects side of jeep from rocks slinging off tires after trail riding
4. Doesnt rust

well, i wheel the crap out of mine and i wanted the extra protection that the boat sides give you.
