This is true for your XR and many other vehicles. There are off-site facilities to install/swap factory accessories that are not installed on the production lines.Hey y'all, my ordering dealer told me that after build the Jeep goes to another facility for the Recon upgrades. This seems completely ridiculous to me. Is this true, or are these all just added on the production line?
It goes to the Mopar building at the same factory for the Xtreme Recon upgrades, whats the issue?
No issues; just wondering if the estimated delivery had this included as well, or should I anticipate longer for this. My dealer gave estimated delivery of 2/27. They said probably longer due to this option addition though.
I pick up my blue truck Saturday morning, dealer has had the orange on the lot for about a week or two. Thanks for the info; just excited I guess!
Pretty sure he is referring to the Xtreme Recon package.I don't think the Recon edition is still in production. It was done a few years ago for a short run, but I have not seen anything on that recently.
Yes, any builds that include mopar performance parts (tailgate reinforcement, spare relocation bracket, aux lights, etc) will be sent from the assembly line to another facility that handles the install of factory upgrades.Hey y'all, my ordering dealer told me that after build the Jeep goes to another facility for the Recon upgrades.
