Hey Steven. Not sure if its "Great minds think alike" or OCD. Probably a little of both.
I have been using the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (sounds like a flavored water) for a few years now. Really seems to hold up. Full disclosure all my stuff is garaged.
Nice video. I might have to give Chem guys a try. I need something that will be easier on a motorhome.
I'm sure it's a little of both

Nice to hear good feedback on the Gtechniq Crystal. The Chemicals Guys ceramic line is super easy to use and as mentioned, the results have been great. Be well Amigo✌🏻

A new addition to my mods on Rubi, a cool way to lock the hood of your Jeep.

Full disclosure, Lasfit recently sent me their Stealth Automatic Hood Lock for the JL/JT to install, test and review. I've had this installed on my Jeep for about a couple of weeks now. Here's the video review I did on it.

Very impressed with the overall quality and the seamless way it secures my hood when locking my Jeep. I was able to get a discount code for anyone who might be interested in this product. You'll see the EPB10 (10% off) code listed on the video. However, from now until August 31st, use this code EPB15 for 15% off when you check out on the Lasfit website. I hope you find this helpful.

Before my trip to EJS this year I installed a set of Rock Crawler No Limits Sway Bar Links. I liked their 35 degrees of misalignment built into the joints which should aid full suspension articulation. They work well and run smoothly and quietly. However, being a solid joint design, I did notice more feedback through the steering wheel over uneven surfaces via that solid joint design.

I've been curious about something. From a NVH standpoint, how much difference is there between running the solid end joint and a more traditional rubber end joint? So, I ordered a set of MetalCloak 12.5" Sway Bar Links that are designed for their 3.5" lift.

I've spent a few days running the new MC Links on Rubi and here's what I found. Compared to the solid RK links, the MC links (any rubber end joint) definitely help dampen the harsh feedback over uneven surfaces resulting in a better, more comfortable ride for the day to day use my Jeep sees. In terms of steering input, the solid link is only slightly better (less inherent flex under load).

I'm going to run the MC links as I enjoy the better ride. I'm looking for a shop with a fork lift and some time next. I'd love to do a back to back comparison between the RK No Limits and the 12.5" MC link and see if there are any advantages to either link at full suspension flex.

You could have went with JKS.......They have high-misalignment poly bushings. They have quick-disconnect and non-disconnecting versions.

I switched over to MC links last year as well Steven for similar reasons. Good choice. 👍🏻

Nice👍🏻

As I mentioned above, the price point on the MC Links made this an easy decision and I really was curious to see if I could feel the difference.

On a side note, when I had my lift installed at Dixie 4Wheel Drive down in St. George, Utah, they did not install the 12.5" links that MC provided with the 3.5" GC lift. They had them on the Jeep and couldn't figure out why Metalcloak sent such a long link. They swapped in a set of shorter links from TerFlex instead, which ran until trying the Rock Crawler No Limits link.

Metalcloak lists the 12.5" link as correct for the 3.5" lift and electronic swaybar. As of yet, I have not fully flexed with the new link. Have you?

I’ve flexed my Jeep probably near max. However, I’m still on stock control arms and 3” lift shocks so it’s not the flexiest of the bunch.
the links are a bit long for my lift but so far, everything clears fine for me.
You’re Jeep and photography skills are top notch!

Thanks Mike, appreciate the compliment!

I asked if you flexed fully because the techs at Dixie felt the 12.5" MC links may hit on the up travel of the full compression. Good to hear your feedback on your setup.
