Here is my journey from being Jeepless to Jeepfull with my 2022 Xtreme Recon Build.

My Order:
2022 Bright White Jeep Rubicon Xtreme Recon
-3.6L V6 eTorque
-8 speed 850RE
-8.4 Radio and Premium Audio
-Cold Weather Group
-Trailer and Tow package
-Led Lighting Group
-XR Package
-Advanced Safety Group
-Body Colored hardtop and Fenders
-Integrated off-road camera
-Black Stitched Leather by Mopar
-Gorilla Glass

I got the call after nearly 6 months of waiting that the Jeep was arriving at the dealership by the end of the day. I jumped on a plane as soon as I got off work (I work in California but live in Oregon) and headed home. I arrived and headed home to patiently wait until morning to pick it up. Later that evening I received the first two photos below, which made the wait that much more painful.

I drove down to the dealership as soon as I woke up and knocked out the paperwork in all of 15 minutes, gave it a 5 minute look over, skipped all the dealer walkthroughs and tutorials because I was ready to take it home and start playing with it. Grabbed the keys, snapped a few photos and got to it.

I will update as I come across things I forgot. I have a lot more planned for the Jeep but I have been enjoying it as is for the time being and focusing on perfecting my camping gear and compactness and set up. I'm close.

The girlfriend does photography on the side (it use to be her full time career) and is helping me with photos, documenting trips, videos and photo/video editing etc. I'm brand brand new to it, but I've always been extremely interested in it, especially the videography portion. So expect some videos and feel free to critique and offer suggestions to improve. Next trip will be in two weeks.

From here, I'll be trying to get caught up with the journey so far and hopefully by my next trip be up to date to stay on top of things.

Sorry that it's a lot of words but like I said, this is mainly for me and documenting for my own knowledge and enjoyment and joy.

Cheers

Loving this build! I have a 3.5” game changer and I’m probably going with the 38” Trail Grapplers too. Is the “after” pic in the OP with the 3.5” or 4.5” springs?

Thank you! I’ve been meaning to get this build thread together for a while now.

The after picture is with 3.5” springs. Since that picture I’ve added the under belly, diff covers and rtt along with a fridge and drawers so the 4.5’s are to basically combat all the extra weight. They’ll be going on in two weeks when they arrive.
