When parts come rolling in before Jeep…….

hahaha

i took the current Jeep out last night and we found what looks like some killer rock crawling in NH. However, even moderate stuff was nearly impossible with the ice and snow and no lockers. I just watched my front left wheel fail to spin while the right spun furiously. Cant wait for the new Jeep.

Was thinking of our conversation from earlier while I was playing with a PAS 13 the other day.
Must have been fun! Out on the range with it? I have a PVS27 and my buddy has a PVS30, so no thermal optics. Borrowed a LWTS from L3 last year to play with which was awesome. I had a Trijicon Patrol but ditched it, wasn’t getting used enough so I just run a COTI on my goggles.

I'm currently using it for work. That and LRAS and ITAS so we can monitor activity over the Rio. But the other 2 are truck mounted of course.

I am jealous. What rig is the LWTS sitting on? Feel free to move this to PMs if you want.

And tell me how i can get down to you to do a shadow along for a night! Will bring my own NODs and kit.

Jeep landed at Chapman’s today! Insurance is in place, financing is 99% there. Waiting to receive docs. The price they quoted me in Nov. held true, so no up charges or change in MSRP.

Congratulations @FreedomFur!
Thanks! I wish you guys had a closer location to me in Concord, NH. I was going to have a shop break the beads of the current tires so I can mount the beadlocks myself, and then I decided to have a shop do it.

My local shop said they wouldn’t mount any tires unless I bought the tires from them. Talk about bad service.,

XR got delivered yesterday!! Got the @CavFab_mfg front bumper and winch mounted up. Need to wire the winch this weekend.

Next steps are to swap the hard top on, wire the compressor back in, wire on the IR lights, rotate the Swaybar motor up, and probably put on the Rubi Recon sliders.

Tire swap is scheduled for next Friday. Paint matched the beadlock rims.

Last night I got the ARB Dual Compressor wired back up. I mounted it again in the rear trunk. Instead of running the wiring through the trim panels, I pulled the front passenger seat and run it under the carpets. This worked well since I also included power connections in my wiring harness for the Midway GMRS radio which I plan to mount inside my center console.

I also ran the wiring up through the carpet in the trunk and then cut a spot for it to come out to plug into the compressor. Hopefully this helps prevent snagging when things go into the trunk. I did wire the on/off back to Aux 2.

Aux 4 is now wired back up to the IR light cubes and the winch also has power. Remaining electrical includes the switch bank I am adding in, the extra lights I am mounting to the hood by the hingers, the 10” IR light bar, and the radio.
