That is a fun fact. Magnet st8cks to the latch beneath the aluminum door skin. Ask me how I know. Lost a few on the trail and now have magnets on my pillars. Pro tip. Lol

Well unfortunately the spot that the magnet needs to attach in this scenario will not hold a magnet without a screw or adhesive.

My RSE magnets came with adhesive backs and I haven't had any issues with the ones on my 2018 (Gen 2) or my 2021 (Gen 3).

The magnet on the passenger side front moved right after I had mine installed. Moved it back about a year ago and it's been stuck there since.
