Hi Folks

On a 2019 Rubicon sitting on a stock suspension what do you need to do to level this rig. (spacer size and location)
Where do you take the measurements from to determine this?
I have added steal bumpers etc. so if I know what the factory numbers are I can determine what I need todo to get her level.

Thanks Again.

It's a 1:1 ratio. A 1" spacer will give a 1" lift. If you want your front to come up 1/2", then add 1/2" spacer to the front.

I get that.
But I dont know how much of a rake there is on our jeeps out of the box.
I read that some guys add "X" spacer to level there jeeps.
I guess what I need to know is this.
- What is the original ride height and where is it measured from.
- If it is factory how much spacer and where would I need it to make it level.

Once I know this information I can figure out what I would need to make my jeep level with mods that have been added.

Thanks

All Jeeps sit different, even when new. My Rubicon was practically XR height in the front before a winch, and I've seen others sit low. Adjust yours as you see fit rather than chasing the perfect OEM height... because it doesn't exist.

But if you really want to, the front shock eye-to-eye should be 20" on a "stock" (average) Rubicon, and 22.5" in the rear.

Thanks for that.
I wonder why they wouldn't be all the same. Hmmmm
Is that the only way to to determine it?
Whats the best way to level her? What what points should could be used...

Cheers

Go by what your eye sees as level. Since there are lots of variables like absence or presence of steel front bumper, winch etc., measure the height of the front edge of the rock slider and the rear edge of the same. Increase the height in the front using the difference. Err slightly on the lower side when rounding off as you don't want a squatting stance.
Alternatively you can go with a reputed after market seller like Clayton Offroad for example and upgrade to a firmer coil spring kit to level off or come close to level instead of using spacers.

Got it

So as was mentioned before there is no one fits all out of the factory.
It more of a "what looks best on your ride" and run with it.
If going with new springs is it more of a trial and error? do they all need to be the same or can you mix and match from front to back.

Cheers!

Front and back don't need to match.
For example this that I used when I had a Ecodiesel Gladiator and increased the front by 0.5". But this can raise the JL front by 1.5".

https://www.claytonoffroad.com/prod...-jeep-gladiator-jt-05-lift-front-coil-springs.

Not necessarily a trial and error as most after market vendors specify coil strength of their own product and compare that to the stock.

Appreciate that
I will have todo some measuring to see where its at and determine what I want for her.

Thanks
