Between the CPS code and the melted electrodes, I’d say it advanced timing way too much and detonated itself into oblivion. Rings and pistons are probably shot to hell, but the block and crank may be salvageable as long as there isn’t a window in the side.

This community is the best I appreciate all of the advice and possibilities. Here is a picture of the plugs. In actuality all 4 were burnt up I just held one that wasn’t next to the three for comparison. Showing my girlfriend

WOW.....I know you said that you were running it hard, but I still can't fathom how it caused this much damage. Is the 2.0 that sensitive that flooring it through country roads is enough to go mental and eat spark plugs?

Yeah I know I was surprised too. When it died it didn’t detonate or anything crazy it just died. Idk. I had to go out of town for work this week so I towed it back to the dealer yesterday and I’m waiting for a call back. I’m gonna go ahead and authorize the diagnostic and then go from there. I’ll keep you all posted.

Well, the dealer is correct - those plugs are toast. Wow! I can’t imagine how only three of the four cooked like that. Only thing I can think of is fuel injectors just kept pouring fuel into three cylinders. I would definitely check into the super chip you have in there, see what it is programmed to. Only a partial tear down is going to determine what happened here.

Best of luck.

So long story but fairly certain my 2.0 is shot. Had a no start issue checked some things changed a few but ultimately ended up checking compression. Results were low to almost no compression in the first cylinder, low in 2nd and 3rd, and barely 100 in the 4th. Stelantis likely isn’t going to cover the warranty due to “suspected pcm tampering” which if there was it was from before I owned it. Any suggestions on my next step? Any good sources for crate motors in case I have to swap it myself? Any and all info is welcome and appreciated
LKQ online for a motor.
Sounds like a timing failure.
If you want to be cheap and you're handy, you can pull the head and have a valve job done. This is best case scenario.

Yea I’ve found a few salvage options up for auction. I can do the work myself it just ends up being a time issue. We’ll see what the dealer says

Hey all I didn’t leave you hanging believe it or not it STILL hasn’t been diagnosed by the dealership! It’s been over three weeks since it’s been towed back to the shop. I went up there Friday and it’s still sitting in the lot. They are saying that it’s gonna be another week or two until they can get it in. I sternly but politely told them that ain’t gonna cut it but it pretty much fell on deaf ears. I’m gonna give them until the week of the first before I start really making some racket. I’ve already been calling every few days and asking for status updates but nothing has changed. Stay tuned hopefully I’ll have some answers soon.

Jasper makes a good stock replacement engine with 3yr 100k warranty. Titan is another good option. i have owned my Jeep for 3 years and it has never seen the dealer for a reason, have it towed back to the house and do it yourself, you won’t cut corners and understand why quality work/parts matter.
