Ratbert's Dealers Below-Invoice Spreadsheet

I try to only include dealerships that do better than Tread Lightly and are willing to give the same discount to everyone. The idea is that nobody has to dicker with a sales person, the manager, then the finance person.

Note that the usefulness of this spreadsheet is diminishing due to the reversal of pricing strategies across the country.

Its crazy how much that list has shrank (I joined in 2021) and it was a pretty substantial list

First time ordering a Jeep. Placed an order for a '25 2 door Willys with Brian at Koons on Monday and got the same discounts advertised in this spreadsheet. It worked out to be 9% off (including TL affiliate discount) +$995 fee, which netted a 7% off invoice. Trying not to take a roadtrip, I took the offer to a couple local dealers and they said they couldn't come close to that offer. Everything was done through email with Brian and he was extremely responsive and quick to answer the multiple questions I had. Their deposit is $500 non refundable currently.

The road trips are the best in my opinion, I drove all the way to PA to pick up my new 2021 Wrangler 392 and it was a great experience.

As an update I am ordering JL's and JT's at 5 percent under invoice less all applicable rebates with treadlightly or other affiliates rewards plus tax, license and 85 doc fee. no unwanted add-ons, or high doc fees. Some of the JT's have strong rebates, even though they have lowered the sticker prices between 24 and 25 model years. I am also doing Ram RHO orders at 3 percent below invoice with treadlightly membership less 1000 every man rebate and there is a Ford conquest rebate of 2000 available if applicable plus tax, license and 85 doc fee. For the RHO people comparing it with out of state stores, its between 8-10k off sticker depending on loaded versus non loaded models and you don't have to pick up from out of state stores!

The spreadsheet is accurate.. I pay for the sponsorship on JTGladiator forum which is the same people and they have never asked me to pay for JL forum so I am assuming that I am ok since I do pay every month for at least the one forum out of my own pocket. They had asked me to pay on the Gladiator forum a couple years ago.

Just had the same experience, felt like I was initially bothering the guy at Koons but he eventually came around. I also ended up local in Southern NJ but my cost is only about $800 over Koons deal so well below invoice still and they were great to deal with. Just ordered this afternoon.

Affiliate Discounts:

• Up to an additional 1% below invoice.
• It's highly recommended to sign up for Tread Lightly
  • An affiliate discount that's easy to get ($100) even if you're not otherwise eligible.
  • 1% below invoice from most local dealerships (ask them) even if they don't typically do below invoice pricing.
  • Additional 1% below invoice for many of the dealerships on the spreadsheet.
  • Must sign up 30 days before you drive the Wrangler off the lot.
  • Usually only applicable to custom orders.
