I called again and they said they weren’t offering the same pricing. Salesman wanted to negotiate instead of giving me a flat price.

I called Granger, got a quote, and then asked some dealers in Co Springs to match. Several were willing to go at least 1 percent under invoice with tread lightly. This is different than a few years ago when none of them went under msrp.
I'm pretty sure Perkins has done Tread Lightly for as long as it's been available. At least they did during COVID when I was looking.

That is good to know. I found one who did 5 below invoice.
Let us know who. If that's a deal they'd want advertised I can add them to my spreadsheet.

My GoogleFoo is quite strong....He started his own business in Septemberish, no longer in car sales.

Thanks everyone for providing these (unfortunate in this situation) updates. I've removed that row from the spreadsheet.

I've had good luck with Koon's in the past but the dude I am talking to right now doesn't seem to want to play ball. We ended up ordering local. 1% under invoice plus a lifetime powertrain warranty. Still get any manufacturer rebates that are available at time of delivery as well on top of that. I feel pretty decent with that. Warranty counts for a bit and nice to keep it local.

Just had the same experience, felt like I was initially bothering the guy at Koons but he eventually came around. I also ended up local in Southern NJ but my cost is only about $800 over Koons deal so well below invoice still and they were great to deal with. Just ordered this afternoon.

Guy I spoke with at Koon's just gave me MSRP. He asked me what I thought and I said I think it looks like MSRP. He told me it all depends on what rebates or incentives are available at the time it comes in but acted like he couldn't do anything right now.

The local dealer got me 1% under invoice which is about $3,500 under MSRP and said I will still get any incentives or rebates at time of delivery on top of that. That along with the lifetime powertrain warranty is good enough for me.

I would note while I had good luck ordering vehicles in the past with Koon's, that was with their Ford dealership. This is the first time I've tried to deal with their Jeep dealership.

Morning @Ratbert , Lilliston Jeep in Millville NJ was my local dealer and they actually informed me of the Tread lightly discount and were very close in pricing to Koons (also half the doc fee) but I'm not sure they want me to show any specific percentage. I'm sure others would benefit buying from them if you are able to add them to the spreadsheet.

I try to only include dealerships that do better than Tread Lightly and are willing to give the same discount to everyone. The idea is that nobody has to dicker with a sales person, the manager, then the finance person.

Note that the usefulness of this spreadsheet is diminishing due to the reversal of pricing strategies across the country.

Lilliston added the Tread lightly discount on top off additional discounts below invoice so overall was greater than 5% below Invoice.

Are they willing too offer that to anyone who calls and mentions the forums / spreadsheet?

First time ordering a Jeep. Placed an order for a '25 2 door Willys with Brian at Koons on Monday and got the same discounts advertised in this spreadsheet. It worked out to be 9% off (including TL affiliate discount) +$995 fee, which netted a 7% off invoice. Trying not to take a roadtrip, I took the offer to a couple local dealers and they said they couldn't come close to that offer. Everything was done through email with Brian and he was extremely responsive and quick to answer the multiple questions I had. Their deposit is $500 non refundable currently.

I cannot speak on their behalf but they honor the tread lightly discount and I gave them an opportunity to compete against other deals including Koons and they were happy to do so whereas others in my area were unable to compete. I'm sure current incentives also factored into the situation so assuming mileage may vary so just an fyi to others in my area.
