Dont these cops have better things to do than harass innocent civvies?

You being from Texas and visiting PA might get away with it. Basically the law states that if it came with doors then it has to have doors on and not tube doors. I guess there were some old CJ's that didn't come with doors from the factory so you could drive them without doors. Probably still get pulled over and have to fight it, though. I read about someone who showed the police the old window sticker that clearly stated it didn't come with doors.

They enforce the law. Don't like the law then you need to talk to a different group. I don't live in PA and I knew about the law. Ignorance of the law does not make you innocent.Dont these cops have better things to do than harass innocent civvies?
That is pretty hilarious in the ironic way to be fair.It wasn’t enforced. I’ve been riding around for over a year without them. And the state troopers said it was a gray area. It was a local cop that pulled me over. I see lots of jeeps here without doors.
It’s asinine that a state that allows motorcyclists to not wear helmets is worried about Jeep doors.
I have friends in Massachusetts and they told me vehicles have to be inspected every year. My friends muffler was loose and he was not supposed to even drive it until fixed! Living in Arizona, the state of almost anything goes, here is a picture of a vehicle legally allowed to drive on the road and the driver actually told me it “drove like a champ”. Please note the rear bumper sticking through where the rear window should be. The duct tape ensuring the drivers door remains shut and the camber of the drivers side rear wheel!Well, I got pulled over for no doors in Pennsylvania by a local cop in my neighborhood. Not pleased at all. Was told it is illegal in Pennsylvania and next time it will be points and a hefty fine. He gave me the option of going to get my doors back on or the ticket. The cop was hard assed and looked for every infraction. Needless to say, I am afraid my days of riding doorless are one until we move. Doubt I’ll still own the Jeep by then.
It's like in Texas we are suppose to display our front license plates. I haven't had one on my last 2 vehicles... the last 6-7 years. Probably 20% of the vehicles around town don't have theirs mounted either. It just all depends on what cop pulls you over and what mood their in, right? Lol!It wasn’t enforced. Haha yeah the euro guys run their actual tag but in euro format and they don’t even get stopped. It's like in Texas we are suppose to display our front license plates. This reminds me of a beat up late 90's Olds Achieva that I've seen around where I live a few times riding on 4 compact spares!!! WTF - I've even seen it on the highway, that can't be safe!
Is Pennsylvania the one state where there is no beer available at the gas stations ?I remember when I used to drive up to Canada from Florida and thirsty as a sailor I would ask for beer at a gas pump in the Keystone state and the attendants answer was so crushing NOPE SIR . You know I could live with the door law but don't take away my beer.Well, I got pulled over for no doors in Pennsylvania by a local cop in my neighborhood. Not pleased at all.
