Theres also a sale on Chemical Brothers stuff today on Prime
One of the reasons the detailers like the cannons is that it can dwell on the surface and break down the dirt before agitation with a wash mit. So the heavy layers of dirt can run down the vehicles surface before even touching it and stirring it into the paint. It also lets you see well where you have been, and when using presoaks it lets the chemical cling to the surface and and start the breakdown action. But yes it does look cool and it does use a lot of soap like you said.Any electric pressure washer will do for a vehicle. I would personally skip out on the foam cannon. Other than looking cool, it doesn't do anything except waste more soap than a normal wash. The end result is the same.
