I knew what i was getting into, 2 time survivor of jeep lemons.

If i wanted reliability I'd have bought a German Shepard or honda.

No problems at all except for the "may randomly burst into flames" recall.

Seriously, though. I've got about 3600 miles now and have had no problems at all. I really like the JL so I ordered an ICE replacement for the 4xe.

I’m actually a touch over 3000, haven’t changed the oil yet.

Gonna do that next week, need to make a trip to Nashville soon.

Wish me luck.

I’d be curious to hear a short summary of what the issue was minus any emotional back story or evil dealer sagas.

Locker position sensor which I potted and replaced, and split radiator off road which the dealer replaced before 15k miles

I clicked the 5000-10000...on my 24 jlur at about 7500 miles and 8 months in I had the 02 sensor/ecm issue....took them 45 days to figure it out...I am at 23000 miles and approaching 2 years and so far no more issues....the silver lining I guess is jeep cares gave me a maxcare 6/85000 $0 deductible service plan for my troubles....oh I had the Uconnect box needs service this summer that the dealership could not fix nor find the cause but eventually it fixed itself....over the air update I guess.

Just a bit over 50k miles on my 2018. No issues. It’s been wheeling all over Moab, AZ, and CO.
I did the clutch recall, but I never had issues with the stock clutch. But for a free clutch, why not? 10k miles post clutch recall, still working great.

2018 JLR, bought with 67,000km, now at 122,000km - regular maintenance and ball joints.
2019 JLR, bought new, now at 52,000km - regular maintenance and a replacement head unit in year 1.
2022 JLUR 4xE, bought new, now at 48,000km - regular maintenance and, of course, multiple recalls for the hybrid battery.

None have ever left us stranded though the 4xE did, once at home, refuse to start at -42 Celsius (parked outside, not plugged in).

Mine just died, 2020 V6 with 56K miles. Misfire, took into dealership and after 10 days of diagnosis they informed me I need a new engine. Kept up with maintenance and just had it in for routine service at dealer at 50K. It is going to be another 14 days or so for them to submit to extended warranty department and response to see if it will be covered. Then they will need to order an engine and replace. Looks like it is going to be awhile before I get her back. 😭😡

None... but it pays well.
Redoing this poll to get much needed updates. Original poll started in 2018, right after JL was released. Now that we're (possibly) coming to the (maybe) end of the JL and looking to the new iteration, what has your experience been with regards to the JL?

Continuation of older poll:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/poll-jl-reliability.13724/page-3#post-3325695
You should have made the poll in groups... 2018, 2019, 2020... etc. And a broader range, like 20 to 10k miles, 11k to 25k miles, 26 to 35k miles and so on. It does not seem beneficial to make any claims, since we know pre corona, corona and post corona all have differences to reliability. It seems like a Pentastar all inclusive comparison, when V1 seen in JK and V2 seen in JL are two different animals.

My 2019 made it to 108,000 miles before it blew a head gasket and developed the 3.6 valve train tick. Now on engine #2.

Around 60,000 miles the N3 fuse blew and drained both aux and main and had to be replaced along with the high amp fuse array.

Clutch has been in and out 4 times for various issues. Jeep is on slave cylinder #3, master cylinder #2, hydraulic line #2.

Currently down again for a bent axle causing pretty bad negative camber on both sides and clicking on the front driver side from somewhere.

🤷‍♀️
