Panic button disable

I used JSCAN to disable my panic button, for me the panic button is just a vehicle locator as ppl have become numb of hearing a horn blowing.

Can you please advise me in which module?

I cannot believe reading this, some people never heard/seen it, some have no idea what is it for, some never heard of using the Tazer or JScan to disable the button, and some suggesting butchering the remote to disable the button... WTF ?!??!

I removed the little rubber bumper trigger the first week of ownership before I even knew JSCAN and Tazer existed. Now I own both and could care less about reattaching the rubber part. I leave the feature enabled so my wife could still choose to use it with “her” key fob.

shoud I after saving, also restart all ecus? No security did not helped.

Thats weird, I tested mine by turning it back on and it worked and then turned it back off and it disabled it, I always choose to restart all all ECUS even though they say it’s not necessary.

So to be clear, you save "no security" disconnect the cable, lock the car and push panic button and nothing honked? if yes there should be another settings that anables this to work.

They are used at least once/hour in the Mayo Clinic parking lot to find lost vehicles. The only gripe whatsoever is with regard to overly short range.
