Paint cracking at the welds

Noticed this today. The paint is cracked down the seam and I presume water and rust will eventually be a problem. I'm thinking it's caused by twisting in the chassis. Anyways, warranty issue?

My 2010 JKU had this in the exact same spot. I no longer own the Jeep, but I know the new owner well and he hasn't washed it in a year. It's also located in Michigan so there's tons of road salt. That said, the body is rusting, but only at the rockers/pinch seam and none of it is at this paint crack.

If you can get it repaired under warranty, I would, but I think you will be okay if you can't get it fixed.

Been waiting for jeep to get back to my dealership since February now most of my seams are.cracked

Well, shit. I noticed cracking in this same spot yesterday. Also on the hardtop above that spot. What the hell.

This is not very cash money of FCA.

First bubbling hinges, and now this... I would be curious to know if certain paints are more susceptible to either issue than others.

Well, this sucks. Oil leak, blend door on the fritz and now this. I love the Jeep but good grief. @JeepCares this is ridiculous to have cracking in the paint and hardtop four months since taking delivery.
